Systems Architecting

About

There is no question of the importance of systems in our modern culture. The question is then how did they get created in the first place ?

History is replete with visionaries being told that the system they would look to build was impossible, dumb, heretical, or worse. These visionaries were first and foremost architects.

Thales is highlighted since he is considered the first philosopher in the Western tradition. Thales in effect holds that the world can be known by man using his own faculties. That is, supernatural forces are not required to know and affect the world as we know it. Man could control his own destiny. When man chose to control his own destiny the building of systems became paramount.

This site will explore the role of architecting in the development of systems.
